Fulcrum 5
The Fulcrum Racing 5 set the benchmark for entry level wheels. New for 2007 the wheels have been redesigned and are better than ever.
The Fulcrum Wheels project originates from the revolutionary ideas of a group of young aerospace sharing a hearfelt passion from bicycles. These, after analyzing the projects offered by the market, realized that there was ample room for improvement. Which is why they decided to resort to their knowledge of aeronautics to design a new range of specialized wheels. In next to no time the project was transformed into a prototype model that gave excellent results when tested, results well above those of rival products. Our team couldn't have been more pleased. So they chose the best materials and the most advanced technologies available and generated the first three models.
Completely new oversized hubs with high quality sealed bearings and a single piece body which incorporates the freewheel body and pawl carrier in a single component with a considerable reduction in weight

Wheels - Road:
Wheels can make a huge difference to the performance of a bike. Deep sections can cut through the wind and are ideal for flat or rolling routes, lightweight wheels are great for hillier roads. Semi deep section wheels offer good all round performance. Disc wheels reduce drag and can reduce times when racing against the clock.
